From January 21 to February 10, 2025, took place the marine expedition of the MMBI RAS research vessel "Dalnie Zelentsy" to the coastal part of the Barents Sea. At 28 stations, the team of specialists carried out measurements of hydro-meteorological and hydrochemical parameters of the water environment and collected water samples to determine bacterio-, phyto-, and zooplankton, as well as samples of bottom sediment. All this is necessary for a comprehensive analysis and forecasting of ecosystem processes occurring in the Barents Sea, particularly during the season of emerging from the polar night, and for assessing risks and the rational use of Arctic marine resources.
