From October 28 to November 1, 2024, the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology RAS hosted the 13th International Scientific-Practical Conference "Marine Research and Education (MARESEDU-2024)".
The conference focused on key themes in ocean studies: сurrent status and future prospects of comprehensive ocean research, sustainable resource management and aquatic biodiversity conservation, continental shelf and deep-sea resource exploration, marine and coastal ecosystem resilience. Participants engaged in over 500 scientific presentations, alongside roundtable discussions, documentary screenings, technical exhibitions, and field excursions.
MMBI RAS scientists took also participated actively in the Conferenc with their reports on different topics:
